
CATA Chamber (California Turkish-American Chamber of Commerce)’s second event in Greater San Francisco Area; “San Francisco Networking & Information Seminar” took place in South San Francisco Conference Center with over 100 attendees.
Businessmen/women and their guests from different business areas had socializing and networking opportunity during the opening cocktail.
The program started with Dr. Bahceci’s opening speech. The next speaker, Dr. Remzi Oten, the President of CATA Chamber, presented CATA Chamber’s mission, vision, and goals. Los Angeles Commercial Attaché of Turkey, Ms. Selen Eryuce informed us briefly about duties and importance of commercial attaché. She mentioned the importance of establishing strong business relationships between Turkey and The United States. She concluded her speech by thanking CATA Chamber for hosting this event and encouraged the attendees to participate and support further activities.
The event continued with the informational seminar. The President of Kaya Tax, Mr. Hakan Kaya, MBA, gave an excellent presentation about Corporations and Tax Liabilities. Mr. Kaya concluded his seminar with a Q&A session.
At the end of the event, a small booklet of business cards that were collected from the attendees earlier was distributed.
The surprise of the day was the roses that were presented to the woman guests to recognize the March 8, World Women’s Day.
The event was much appreciated and all guests left with the common feelings; the more we participate and get together, the stronger community we grow.
